What sets Hamburg City Sprachen apart from other translation agencies?

Our CEO Melek Korkmaz grew up trilingual. As a child, she often accompanied her parents to parent-teacher-conferences and administrative appointments to interpret bureaucratic matters.

Through these experiences, she understood early on that language is a way of standing up for yourself. After all, her knowledge of the German language was an important asset for her family as they built a new life in Germany.

What began as a childhood task later led her to establish her own interpreting and translation agency in St. Georg in Hamburg in 1999. Today, more than 10 people work in the City Sprachen network, all of whom are driven by one shared motto:

We simplify everyday life for people.

Our entire team takes pride in making people’s lives easier through our daily work – for example by supporting you through complicated bureaucratic processes. We have years of experience in this area and are always happy to share our knowledge.

We can advise you on:

^

Which documents and forms are needed for your venture,

^

whether a notarization (apostille) is missing or needed, and

^

which documents are accepted by consulates.

These are precisely the services that make the City Sprachen interpreting and translation agency a uniquely reliable point of contact for people from all over the world. We understand the daily life of immigrants and individuals of diverse backgrounds and strive to cater to their individual needs and wishes.

It’s not surprising, then, that many people and families among our customers have been with us for years and even decades – from birth certificates to school reports and marriage certificates. We also have numerous companies among our regular customers. Our customers’ loyalty and satisfaction is something we are very proud of!

What are the costs for interpretations and translations at City Sprachen?

There is no one answer to this. The costs for our services are as varied as the services themselves. The price may depend on

^

the length of the document,

^

the complexity of the text,

^

or the desired target language.

We are happy to provide you with a quote based on the basic parameters and conditions of your document.
